a homeless person asked me to spare some change today [UPDATE] 2

I said 'no' as usual. but as I walked by him I decided to let a healthy sized fart rip- right out in front of him.
he was just sitting there, face at my ass level, and was forced to smell it.
i told him i had no change to spare and then i farted in his face.
i was staring him into his eyes as i was farting.
then i continued walking, with a huge smile on my face.
does this make me a bad person?

Maybe a little. But if that's true, then I'm probably a bad person too.

Well if he enjoyed it, you might have made his day. Hell for all we know he was collecting money to pay someone to do just what you did. Always think positive man.

It doesn't make you a bad person.
It does show something about yourself that I wouldn't really be proud of...things like disrespectful, closed-minded, elitist, and probably ignorant.
But those are all caused by behavior, so they are within your control.

i didn't mean to fart in his face.
it just happened to come out at that exact moment.
i'm not even sure how he reacted because i didn't realize that i had farted in his face until i had walked further down the block- and it's not like i could really return and see how he was.
my farts are pretty smelly. i have some gastrointestinal thing going on, and smelly farts are a symptom.
he definitely smelt something, because release happened right in front of his face.
and the smell is heavy and lingers.
my first thought upon realizing what i had just done though
was to break out into a huge smile and start to laugh.
but i stopped because people look at you weird if you do that.
i also live in toronto so i don't think poid could last living homeless here in the winter.

i realize i said 'decided' up there.
i guess i may have. or maybe i didn't.
i firmly believe it is healthier to let go of gas when the need arises, rather than hold it back.
i did make the choice to fart, but i did not consciously decide to fart in the homeless guys face.
i did find it funny immediately aftewards.
i still do.

Eww. And I think thats going a bit far. Most of the beggars who've asked me for money have been OBVIOUS crack/meth/heroin/alcohol junkies, and I have ZERO respect for them or their situation. Even people like poid who are able bodied people who would rather be lazy and ask other people who actually earn money for a living don't get any respect either.
Thats about 95% of the beggars on the street, so there's a 95% chance that he's not a bad person in my book.
