anyone ever experimented in adding food dye to their Substrate jars or casings, in order to grow colored shrooms? You know, how flowers will suck up the color in the water.

Just curious.

I've seen it somewhere around here. In the pics I've seen, the color hues were real lite pastels.

I haven't tried putting coloring in the substrate but I have colored them after for christmas... I was under the impression they didn't take up the pigment any other way...
