Are you really suppose to use 2.4 cups of hydrated lime per 15 of verm and peat? I am sorry but that seems like a little much to me.

I've heard its supposed to be %10 by weight, although I might be talking out my ass.

It does seem much. I allways take 10 volume percent of limestone flour(not hydrated lime) .

Is hydrated lime alright though? I know you are not suppose to use dolomitic because it will burn the mycelium, but it says in the 50/50+ tek that hydrated lime is alright.
