My tyvek lid tek

This is how I make tyvek lids for my quart jars with tyvek
First take the lid punch 3 small holes about 1/8" into lid make sure rough edges are up so you do not pierce the tyvek

Fill jar with grain place a square piece of tyvek over opening place lid on and retaining ring
Pressure cook as usual

Once done carefully remove ring and lid the tyvek should stay in place very tight after pressure cooking clean top with alcohol place a half piece of band aid so one end is down the other is up insert sterilized needle inject your solution as pulling out the needle seal the Band-Aid over the hole
Replace lid and retaining ring and incubate

Fed ex enevelopes are cheap , do not break any laws . And no one thinks anything bout you taking a few envelopes.

Im using this and a enclosed incubation/iconolation chamber flowhood kinda thing to aid in my war against contams. Lysol and disinfectant wipes and bleach tooo
