Basically all studied out... will smoking weed affect my ability to retain the information?
I know that studying right before bed is when you are able to remember more things, but would smoking change anything?
I smoke weed a lot but this is a big exam

if you smoke weed lots its not going to be that one bowl that makes you forget that one days studying, its all long term
I say blaze it up
I always smoke before big tests cause I can think much more clearly when im not worried about everything

Imo, sativas are excellent for studying. It helps me retain information, and focuses my attention more. Also helps my comprehension of the material and enhances my intuition.

i could smoke and study for like the stupid classes in humanities and all that bullshit
but when it was complicated math associated with accounting and finance, i wouldnt touch the stuff
similarly, ill never be high during work, shits just too complicated, and you need to stay sharp

I always smoked to study, and consequently always smoked before exams. I'd just take small hits whenever I started losing focus when studying, but for tests I would always go the extra mile and get really ripped. For a few hours before an exam I was studying with a chick whose way of studying and reviewing was complimentary to mine... but 45 minutes before the exam I told her I had to go and finish getting ready, I never take an exam without getting high.
I actually had a really particular drug-regimen before an exam. 40 minutes before the exam, I smoked a half a cigarette. 30 minutes before the exam, I drink an appropriate amount of caffeine, typically one shot of espresso, so that my body was neither deprived nor over-caffeinated (caffeine seemed to negatively affect quality of work unless taken at small threshold doses). for from 25-15 minutes before the exam, smoke several bowls of good herb (or better, hash if it was around). Worked very well for me

Before my purge began, traditional tokes before studying/test-taking/class/labs were taken. State-dependent learning theories strike me as being pretty feasible. I can definitely retain information easier/faster after riding the body of certain abused substances (marijuana, alcohol, etc.), but if you smoke regularly and enjoy studying high . . you are in good standing.

I smoke weed WHILE studying, it helps me A LOT. Things I could NEVER understand while sober makes SO MUCH sense while high. I have ADHD and I use sativa to help me focus, and indica to help me sleep. (I also have insomnia.) And either for my alergies. Weed helps me with anything I can think of. Like yesterday, while surfing, I ripped out my toe nail, and I just smoked some weed for the pain and I didn't feel a thing. I bet you, if you smoke some now, it will help you integrate what you have just learned into long term memory, and not just short term.
I only understand maths while high, any other time, and I just can't understand wtf is the point of all these little numbers and shit.

I had been doing really terrible in a CS230 class all quarter. I said fuck it I'm going to fail anyway and smoked out of my bubbler before the exam. I was almost the last person done, but I felt like I concentrated very hard on everything and I feel like I might of passed the course.

I think each individual is different, I personally will get too distracted while high to study. But I have a friend who is the exact opposite. YMMV

certain subjects go good with weed- anything that allows thinking outside of the box- psychology, philosophy, I personally don't find it too easy to learn math when I'm blasted , but sometimes being high can show you the answers- it's really random and depends on the high I guess
