Mulon Rouge BLEW MY MIND!!! Trip Report

Anyone ever watch that while tripping??? Lemme give my sumerized trip report. I was shrooming this weekend, first time in a LONG time....was going for level 5...anyways, a friend of mine stopped by right after I dosed(about 8g of cubes). Luckly, they were not a very potent batch, and after my friend dosed, the evening ceased to be a solo voyage of self exploration, and turned into a "trip party." I was VERY glad to see my friend, hadn't seen him in a while, but if I knew he was coming over, I would have dosed lower. MUCH LOWER!!! 8 grams is deff. not a "party" dose.

Anyhow, the ride was a little bumpy, but not altogether bad. The highlight of the evening was when we put in the "Mulon Rouge" DVD. It was strange, cause I usually can't watch TV when I trip....am just not in the frame of mind. However, I had not seen this movie before and it was just flashy enough to catch me. Now, as you probably have guessed, I was WAY to far gone to even TRY to follow the plot, but one scene in particular will remain etched in my soul for AS LONG AS I LIVE!!! THE ABSINTHE FAIRY...... when that little green fairy hops off of the bottle, and flys around... TOTAL SENSORY OVERLOAD....that scene was just TOO incredible for words....Also, i think i will be humming Elton Johns "Your Song" for the next month or 2.

Anyways, just thought I'd share that w/ ya'll. Anyone else like this movie when tripping?

never been a fan of the musicals. if you like that movie i would suggest dressing up like a fairy and watching "The Sound of Music." that movie seems to fit your style quite well.

I was stoned the first time I watched Moulin Rouge and I was blown away.  Everyone should see this movie, even if you don't like musicals.  It's SPECTACULAR SPECTACULAR no words in vernacular can describe this great event, you'll be dumb with wonderment!!!  :laugh:

LOL Mind you all this was same nite that maxdman's friend got blown away by the concept of zero> I laffed so hard that my face hurt the next day. I am sorry for the low potency of the cubes no idea what went wrong maybe cause of all the rain they lost some magic in the drying since took about a day longer than normal to get them cracker dry. I did notice that even fresh they didn't stain blue from bruising as fast as some other flushs had. I think I am done with b and going to try some copes next time round.

Moulin Rouge is an excellent shroom movie!!  :smile:

Definitely on the Top Ten list of trippy movies...
