Once I hit 15lbs., do I need to keep the PC at a slow boil, or do I just need to make sure the pressure is maintained?? How does the pressure affect the boiling point?

I can't answer your second question, but as for the first.. I do know that once you reach 15psi then you just want to keep it at 15psi. Raise/Lower the heat in order to keep it there.

Once it hits 15, you turn it down a bit, to roughly medium temp. If you kept it at high, it will just rattle like crazy. Turn it down to medium and keep an eye on it. It might rattle again at medium temps half way through, then just turn it down again, and so on and so fourth

In reply to:

The higher the pressure, the higher the temp required to achieve boiling.
