That album is incredible on lsd- the music has so much trippy depth to it, you can only understand when you are tripping

Some phish pholks will think im crazy for saying this, but "billy breaths", the album.
That and "lawn boy".
Billy breaths is insane. A truely amazing album.
Its very, calm, cool, themed, and its a green blue color.
Another album to get is "rift"
Ya, billy breaths is the shit dude.
Get that.

Fuck yeah, Billy Breathes is the only album that I have by Phish (as of yet) and is indeed amazing.

Im a HUge music fan and its been a few years since I heard the song billy breaths off the record.
It was pretty emotional for me to listen to it for the millionth time.
Go figure, most of the people who think phish is a joke have most certainly not heard the album, "billy breaths".
Hope you like.
All of their albums kick ass if you ask me.

to be honest,
I could tell you just about everything about the band, their career, epic shows, talk about the music for years on end.
But I have never listened to an album, bought one, or could tell you what songs appear on what albums, other than what is on The White Tape, and what songs make up gamehenge
I only know phish as a live band. The only recordings I have are of live shows, so I could not tell you where to look, much like yageman can.
But, there are livephish albums you can buy , which are packaged recordings of different live shows - all top notch amazing shows. But, with a band that has played over 1,000 shows together, picking 20 so of the best, is rather difficult. But, if you really want to get into it, there are a number of sites online that you can download just about any phish show, for free. With that said, you are at your own mercy on that one.
Phish is a live band - get studio, but don't forget live

samlarone - yes
what you posted was a video of the end of the composition part (the fugue) into the plunge - where they settle into that thick dark groove - AND JAM THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i'm convinced that under the influence of psychedelics - there is a moment in almost all of phish's jam's - structured or unstructured (type I, II, or III) - there is always a musical moment where, everybody just gets IT

One time while tripping on shrooms I was listening to Mad Season and it felt as though all of the music was simply Layne Staley's way of saying goodbye to a world he knew he was leaving.

Music has a huge influence and meaning to me stemming from LSD use. Often while tripping, Pink Floyd would take me on a journey of my mind, and spirit, while simply sitting in a dark room. When I came off acid the feeling stuck with me, and now when I listen to Pink Floyd (specifically Wish You Were Here) I get really emotional and tear up. LSD just magnified the meaning that was already there, made it so much more real and powerful.
