Someone stole my flash 2, so I've been carrying these buck knives. They've been in my family for 3 generations.

Just bought a Falkniven DC4 sharpener to carry in my pack.  Its 2 sided with a fine (25u) diamond grit shaping side, and a ceramic/sapphire polishing side.  It is 4 inches long and comes in a nice little leather pouch.

For home sharpening I have a set of Japanese water stones (800, 1200, and 6000 grit, and a nagura stone for working up a slurry on the polishing stone) that are just out of this world.

In the near future I am picking up a combo set from Fehrman knives.  I am getting the bigass Final judgement, and a smaller Peacemaker.  The Peacemaker has a Firebow bearing in the handle which is a nice little add-on.  They are both made with CPM-3V carbon steel, hardened to 57-59 Rc.  (I am getting the satin finish, I have never liked black blades)

Damn, my gas (gear acquisition syndrome) just got the better of me and I bought a sweet-ass new knife.  Its a Fallkniven PXL folder.  My camera doesn't seem to be working right now so here is a pic from the website:

The thing is a beast!  The specs are:

Total length: 165 mm
Length folded: 111 mm
Blade length: 88 mm
Blade thickness: 3.50 mm
Weight (knife): 176 grams
Steel: 3G - laminated powder steel
Hardness: 62 HRC
Handle material: Ivory Micarta
Locking: Liner lock

Absolutely beautiful.

Yeah, but why would you want a knife thats marketed on a gimmick rather than on quality?

I just lost my spyderco endura wave my first day in Colorado.  I am used to hearing when something falls out of my pocket.  Damn snow.

Now I am down to a kershaw scallion and a benchmade mini griptillian.  Both are great knives and so was my spyderco.  I hope whoever found it appreciates it.

Mine:

I traded a Masai warrior in Kenya a pair of Foaklies and $5 for it.  It's a little big, but it's great for throwing, and hacking back the brambles.

Just spent wayyyy to much money on some new knives...

But they are works of art:

From Left to right:
Fehrman Hoodhunter
Bark River Aurora
Busse NMFBM LE

Oh yeah

Here is a pic of my entire knife collection (got rid of a few things like my stones and the Fallkniven Folder which didnt really live up to my expectations)

From bottom to top:
Busse NMFBM LE
Fehrman Hoodhunter
SOG Trident 2.0
Bark River Aurora
Precise Deer Slayer
Victorinox Rucksack
Victorinox Swiss Champ
Fallkniven DC4
Lee Valley Sportsman's Hone
Leather pouches for DC4 and Sportsman's Hone

Excuse the crappy quality, these are taken with my cell camera.

Both the Fehrman and the Busse came with Kydex Sheaths.

I like the grommets in the sheaths as this allows me to remove the belt loop and bungee the Busse to my pack as it is a bit too heavy to haul around on the belt.

It's basically a small machete, weighted for throwing.  The sheath and handle are some kind of hide, probably goat or lion.

That's a sexy collection Crasher.

I just found a SOG field pup on the bus, brand new, still in the bag with the receipt and price sticker still on the blade. There was no one else on the bus so I exercised the finders keepers law :discodance:
