Will running a coolmist without water burn it up or anything?? Thanks!!!

I don't think it will burn up, but it will dry out your cakes/casings.

I wouldn't think so.

If it works like mine all it pretty much is, is a suction tube running to a fan. A tube that hangs down to the water line spins and creates suction.. then the water gets sucked upwards and hits kinda like a fan breaking it up into a mist. I actually didn't use my cool mister for my terr. but out in my room cause with the house heater on, the air in my place dries out soo bad (waking up in the middle of the night, throat dry and soar, dying for water) It has run out on me a few times during the night and hasn't burnt up on me yet.

However, if you are asking cause you are going to be away from your terr. for a few days... If the cool mister ran out of water, it will just be blowing air and it will dry out your cakes/casings just like you had put a regular fan on it.

I was asking to know if one could hook it up to a terrarium and use if for just air exchange
