drop and roll

Hey every one I have a quick q? I dropped on of my cakes and the poor man tank that it set in and the whole cake was covered in wet perilite. This cake had maybe three pins on it and they died before i dropped the cake this was two day ago. this morning i let the fresh air in the tank and found the whole cake covered in pins. has any one ever rolled there cakes in the perilite, and found the same thing i have? :grin:

some people place them right on the perlite to give them extra moisture. all that happened is you kind of dunked that one cake and let it soak up some extra moisture. if that one benefitted that much from it you might wanna think about dunking/coldshocking the rest that arent pinning
