I haven't been able to go to my Hung Gar classes in a long time because of my inconvenient class times. But yeah I used to take Hung Gar for a while...No belt system though.

I studied under francis fong for a while, not long enough to consider myself knowledgeable, one of the guys on the wrestling team wit me in high school is now an instructor there, JKD isnt an actual fighting style, it's a concept of fighting, roots in wing chun without the rigid structure and ceremony

If you wanna do gymnastics then you should train for gymnastics and not martial arts.
None of that flashy shit impresses me at all.
If he had some targets to hit and was doing all those flips and shit while hitting something........ then I might be impressed otherwise all that flipping and spinning is worthless in a real fight.

Yeah I'd like to be an instructor but I don't have near the free time.
And to Mushman, Hung Gar is considered to be an external Chinese martial art, though all CMA have internal aspects and practices, Hung Gar is focused more on developing a solid stance and having practical strength over the body. It's hard to go in depth about what a martial art is all about though online. So I could say a lot of cool stuff, but your best bet is finding a school with a legit teacher. I practice hung gar from Lam Sai's school which is the more popular. One of the other schools of Hung Gar is Duong Fong (sp?) which is less common, but some would say it's closer to the roots of Hung Gar.
*EDIT: Oh yeah and Hung Gar is considered a short to mid range CMA, though it commonly incorporates some long range Choy Li Fut, and I've seen some other styles like mantis forms incorporated.
*EDIT*EDIT: Niteowl is CORRECT! I would call that more "tricking"(an offshoot of the parkour community)/acrobatics

yeah, he would deff lose in a fight, but this is an open form at the us open, judges score on what you can do like in forms and in the purticular movie he is doing an extreme form, mike chat who was a blue power ranger haha. created this type of martial arts its called xma.
its pretty interesting how he can incorporate deff syles together, including copeirra

So what has gymnastics and dance got to do with martial arts?

I seriously doubt that because I dont believe he'd be hopping around as he does in the video, all it does is demonstrate his speed and agility, while it's not suitable for any fighting competitions or an actual fight it's still quite impressive in the show category, I'm not one that would be inclined to believe he thinks of that as a fighting style

as I mentioned about jeet kun do, it's a 'run what you brung' martial art, it's a concept, it teaches you to use what you already know and to remove the unnecessary 'junk', to strip the rigid structure and hone it to a fluid fighting style

you "play" capoeira?
capoeria is a waste of time in my opinion.
