Yeah Gorge!  Got seats in the 40th row and a tenstrip.

Thinking:  Barbecue/beer during doobie brothers,

dose 2 before allman brothers

drop another 2 before the dead's set

The way this whole thing is going down with Live Nation promoting this tour has got to have BG rolling in his grave.Selling tickets before they were even supposed to go on sale at even more exorbitant prices than they already are charging. It all feels like legalized scalping to me.As one who has given away many tics and never profiteered on the Dead beyond my own shirt designs in the lot this makes me sick inside.Things sure have changed. My excitement at first hearing about the tour quickly.Enjoy the sellout boys,I'll just have to remember my good ol days touring in the early 80's.

For the record, I paid 50 bucks a piece for my 3 shows. Lawn seats at awesome venues, easily worth 50 bucks. And I was able to get them with a little bit of perseverance (unlike the literally impossible task of getting face value Phish tickets). Iagree that some of these shows are over priced, but how much of that do you really think is a direct result of the wishes of the guys in the band?

Honestly, I agree.

I paid $67.60 for my ticket, all told.  $12 of that was the shipping fee and the service fee was $5.60.  UPS 2nd Day Air really does cost on the order of $10, so I don't feel like I got ripped off.

This is the most I would pay to see a nationwide touring act, though.  $100+ is out of my price range.

I've seen the Boys play at all three of these Venues you're going and honestly thought of Shoreline and the Gorge.Would maybe go still if they were playing the Greek in Berkley or Red Rocks. Those prices indoors are crazy though. As far as the guys in the Band, they're the ones who hopped in bed w/ Live Nation and everyone knows theirs and Clear Chanel's rep.

Red Rocks would indeed be pretty sweet, but you gotta work with what your given.
In all reality, I could see this being the last time these 4 tour together as a group, and leaving all of the complaints aside, I think Id be a lot sorrier for missing this tour than I will be for paying a few extra bucks.
