If you have a big test, do you smoke beforehand? Do you think it actually makes you function better or do you just prefer to be high?

I wouldn't say it helps me function better, it probably does the opposite, but I've always preferred being in class/studying high. I can't remember if I ever took my exams high, not sure, but I've always gotten good grades

I NEVER take tests high.
Never go to class or labs high either.
Shit just doesn't get done. After it's over I smoke up/Quote:

I never do any sort of academic work while high. I have in the past, and I got away with it fine, but I can definitely perform much better in school sober. Weed just makes me retarded.

I have not took a test in years lol but, When I did I always wanted to be sober if not my mind would wonder off to lala land. I failed lots of tests be being high though I guess thats why I'm a high school drop out!

I like to accomplish things that have very little trace of superficialities sober, (jobs, tests, whenever I am up on stage)
However, trivial is cannibis friendly
Also, when I fail sober, I take pride in my
clean fail. Dirty fails look worse.

In school I learned that to maximize cognition, if you studied something high , you had to take the test high because you were more likely to remember the stuff you learned high if you put yourself in the same state.
So if you study high , you better take the test high !

Yeah I did a lot of my coursework and exams high. I'm a coder though and I can code blind drunk so my state of mind was never much of an issue

I'm usually high all day so i cant really say iv taken test purposely high
But I can tell you it makes me less annoyed to be taking a test.

Nah. I can do general homework and certain types of assignments while high, but I don't need to get high before a major test.

That is exactly why I don't listen to music while studying . . . My professors have never let me bring my ipod into the exam!

Nah, if im going to take a test under the influence, id rather it be of a stimulant, so as to at least give myself a confidence boost. Sometimes if i am writing a lengthy paper it helps ease the monotony to smoke up, otherwise i am the stereotypical cloudy headed dummy when high.

I think it just depends on how hard you really want to try.
If you think it helps you perform better, it just might.
Same goes for the other way around

It kinda fucks with me to be really high in class. I can see being high helping me if I dont smoke too much. But if i smoke too much (which i normally do) i tend to get kinda noid and think people are staring at my high ass. I do shit like read or dive into my laptop to make myself feel safe in that environment. So its a double edged blade ya know?

I did it everyday on opiates when I was a senior in highschool. Much easier than weed IMO.

Except in playwrighting. Everyone in that class is so ridiculously weird already, they don't notice when I say odd things. It's the best time to be really high because they're the type of people that you can explain all those off the wall stoned theories to and have them not only not look at you funny, but discuss and agree with you.
This morning I spent twenty minutes explaining to the guy next to me that Pods (those gigantic storage boxes) are actually placed strategically by the government to cover the black holes in the earth, therefor explaining the growing number of them outside.
He didn't even blink an eye.

Right on, makes sense to me. Imagination is sexy on a girl. you can come chill anytime. All i have around here are these barbie doll retard bitches whom want me to think for them. And BTW I love being able to share my stoned theories. I have a theory that we are God's antfarm. And that it doesnt matter what goes on, even if we died in one big nuclear blast he would just be like "cool" and probably form us into something else. But the only thing that isnt destoyed is the soul, and thus we shall be recycled. Just a thought. not a belief, im not really up for some religious debate.

Electromagnetic waves are important if you are planning on doing any RF design work. 
I never took any tests high (on weed), but I used to go to class and labs high a while ago.

I have a test in an hour that I've not studied for at all...I've been sitting around all day smoking pot instead (recovering from a hangover). I'm gonna eat some food and burn another one, then go in and wing it and hope for the best.
