Problem with growing someone please help

I have 6 cakes in a fish tank. Four of the cakes have been in the tank for more than a week and are growing mushrooms. Two of cakes I added two days ago. Today I noticed that all the cakes have a light blue spots all over them. The blue spots are hard to see unless upclose. I have moved the cakes in and out of the tank a couple of times. Is this just bruising or did they get contaminated some how???

Hard to tell without pics, but I'd say its just bruising.

My guess is bruising being that you said you move them in and out alot.
