These, found next to several cubensis mushrooms, are the topic of identification...
darker  thin stems with lighter grey caps.  the less mature caps of these looks brownish.  Dark Gills on both and its kind of hard to tell if they bruise as the stems are darker.  :confused: Active? Species? hmmm

Definetly a (a few) species of Panaeolus. The spore print should be black.

Im thinking either a realitive to campanulatus, or darker colored ones with the pronouced umbo are papilonaceus. They could be active, however wait for others to ID as well.

The larger white one in the middle of the first picture appears to be a Panaeolus cyanescens, if there is yellow or carmel on the cap, its probably that. They will bruise in some cases. I guess sometimes they will not...i personally have never picked them.

Hard to tell with the pics and scarce descriptions. More info would be nice.

Blue Meanies..

All of the mushrooms pictured appear to be Blue Meanies.

These were found In Orange County. Within the same area of quite a few cubensis.

Here are more mushrooms found today, they all appear to be very similar to yesterdays find (thank you rain god :grin:).  Some of the stems are lighter though and APPEAR to bruise but still kindof unsure.  Spore print is appearing black.  Some of these are turning very dark though.  Found two more cubes today as well.


Any more IDs would be appriciated, these dont appear to be deadly?. Also whats the potency of these little buggers.

The white one on top looked like a little sumbraro so i had to snatch it.  !Ariba!  !Ariba!  :laugh:
