on bulk substrates, about mycelium wastes

anybody else notice with bulk substrates, yellowish liquids that appear to be wasteproducts of the mycelium form large drops or puddles on the bottom of the container?
if it accumilates in large amounts during spawn running, does anybody think it should be cleaned out? or do y;'aa just leave it be.
or ...
is it some contam?
(i might be wrong about the whole mycelium waste thing)

IMHO the myc is extruding out excess moisture from the substrate. No big deal, if not excessive.

I get tiny pools here & there on top a dung substratre some times & add casing layer right over it.

If it is excessive, it may be a good idea to swab some up with a sterilized absorbent cloth?
