need help to solve a puzzle with my Thai Lipa Yai

hello all

i wanted to try some Thai strain, so i obtained a Thai Lipa Yai spore print.

i made numerous jars - all failed with the exception of  thai that likes drinkin' beer :smile:

now there is one jar that shows mycelium on 2 of 4 innoculation points [shown on pic]. its healthy, but it seems that this print i got shows either nothin' or healthy myc:



so, can someone figure out whats happening with my Thai spore print?

In order to experiment, you got to have a solid knowledge basis and experience.
You don?t.
So don?t experiment if you want to succeed.
Go with the PF tek or some of its variations.

ok captain.

my question has nothin' to do with experiments, that is obvious you dont want me to do.

i made 10 pf style jars in two different days and with a different syringe with rye flour and verm. no mycelium, no contams. nothin. i am always working with rye flour instead of brf because i cant find the latter and always with success, so i suppose this is not experiment.

i also made 3 different substrates. one failed, the other was with the beer and the third was with corn flour instead of rye flour and is the one posted here. i think this one is not an experiment either. anyway.

the fact i am posting in this forum some crazy shit from time to time, doesnt mean i dont have shrooms to consume. its just that i dont like posting except if its something new, weird or seem cool to me. So there's no need to post that my GT casings fruited okee. PEACE.

perhaps now my question is better-put so someone can answer.

the substrate is corn flour and verm, in a PF recipe.

the spore print... well... lets say that a friend send it to me. I dont want this thread to be a bad advertisment to someone who isnt his fault :wink:

so, i suppose you feel that its the spore prints' prob, right?

i think so. all failed jars, didnt contaminate, which means that the spores never germinated, right? but perhaps some spores were still alive so thats why i succeded in two jars.
