Hunted More Down
    #992409 -

Ok, I went back to the same place, but went down a bit further. This area was a very small valley in between a big mossy boulder and a fallen down tree (that was also mossy) the temperature was pretty cold (enough for me to put a jacket on) and it had just stopped raining from overnite. The caps i found look to have the same top as a psyclobe cyan (wavy cap) only the cap isnt that wavy. the cap is light to dark brown, flat, but it almost has a wavy shape to it (the cap is turned up). the gills are a tan colour, almost a very light light brown. The stems are kinda bruising but i cant tell the colour. Im gettimng a spore print in about an hour or so, but until then, any help??
thanks
peace.

is there any way i can tell a mushroom is magic or not, by cutting the stem open?

If you can't tell the colour then they probably ain't cyans. That sentence tells me that you're trying to see a colour, with cyans you will know they are bruising blue. By all means cut a stem (or cap) open and see what colour the bruising is, but I doubt they are cyans.

hey, sorry guys.....I found these mushrooms in a mossy/woody area...where it was very wet. I think i may have found them on an old fallen down tree with moss growing all over it......the bruising is not blue. its a dark shade, but i dont know of what. is it possible that it is a psyclobe if it dosent have blue bruising?

Nope, its not going to be a cyan...

Cyan caps have a deep, rich carmel color, and bright white stalks, which bruise blue. They are somewhat small. The blue is easily identifiable , its a birght blue, like the sky  The gills are a purple-grey color. There will be a slight webby type veil around the stalk.

Keep searchin, look more towards areas not in towards the forests but, more along the sides of roads and wood chips.
