Vermiculite Casing?

How do I properly case my shit with vermiculite Ive read all there is but I want to hear a pros opinion and do I have to sterilize it before hand? One more thing does Ionized filtered air have any effect on growth of fruits peace

i?d say pasteurize it in the microwave(moistened!!) for 10 minutes.
