You need to join channel #mckennachat by typing this into the talk bar:

You can leave channels by typing:
/part #(channel name here)

If you have a question, you can PM it to an operater in the channel, these are recognised by an @ before their name.
We will try to get as many questions answered during his couple hour stay as possible.


Please try to connect before tonight, so as to make sure if you have any problems, we can try to sort them out in this thread.
If you do encounter problems, please post them here ASAP, giving as many details as you can to help us sort out your problem. Eg. Operating system, irc client. etc.
With that said, there shouldn't be any problems connecting, the java chat is a 20 minute download on a dialup.

As the users who attended this chat know, there was a technical difficulty with Dennis McKenna connecting to the chat server.
He sends his apologies to all who attended.
This chat is being rescheduled to take place at a later date.
This will happen.

I just remembered about this, and ran a search to see if the chat was actually ever rescheduled..  I know it has been a while, but is there much chance something like this could still happen?  This would have been so awesome.. :frown:
