for 1? get four cakes and buy an 8x8inch bread pan from a vons, or ralphs or any nearby market. Those foil ones. it's like 2 or 3 bucks for 3 o' em. You know what I'm talkin about.

One cake?! That would be a pretty small casing... Go buy a muffin pan, and case all your individual cakes in the muffin holes, that might work..... not. lol. Why not just grow the ones you aren't sure of directly off the cake?

Your yeild won't be that much better, your only casing one cake! I say just let em grow off the cake, and be smarter about it next time. Another idea could be to let the cakes pin/flush, look closely and try and determine which strains are which, then match them up. You could wait for the first flush to finish then case. Anyone know if this would work? Just a thought.

it doesn't mater if they are different strains, you can still case them together. Just when you break up the cakes don't mix them together. try and keep the crumbs from one cake together and then put the crumbs from the other cakes next to it. you see what I'm saying? IMHO casings from one cake are pointless, just some extra work. If you don't believe me or decide not to case them together for some reason don't make individual casing just fruit from the cakes themselves using the dunk tek. good luck.

I use the ziploc 4" x 4" x 4" containers, just spraypaint the outside with black gloss. That keeps the light out. Works great for one cake at a time. Where can you find this 'sea of shrooms' tek?

Don't worry about the strain. Cubes are cubes for the most part. When you're tripping, the name of the stain doesn't mean shit.
