Had some Xtra BRF/Verm mix left over from my owl's jars. PC cant fit any more jars, but I he wants to save the substrait. (not much left) So the left over was bagged and put in the fridge. It still useable?

I wouldn't keep it too long before using it. And do keep it in the fridge, covered. Otherwise, it won't be long before mold takes a hold of it.

Yeah, isn't it annoying, I swear, every damn time I make BRF jars I always have extra, but its cheap so who cares. Hell fuck brf, move on to birdseed.

What kind? My panda just got a cat so he hits up the pet store monthly. I know there is no DIFINITAVE brand, but any working type will do.

Do you have to soak it overnight? If so, I will stick to BRF. If soaking is the key, he rather use wheat berries.

I have Penningtons Wild Bird Feed from Wal-Mart. It is super cheap. To get the best results it is advisable to do a soak. If your panda decides to give it a try then just make sure that the bird food is made of mostly millet.

I use Pennington's Wild Bird Seed from Wal Mart, but only soak for ten minutes to remove the coating. I use two thirds cup of birdseed and one third cup of water per quart jar. If I am going to be firing alot of karo water into a particular jar I will use less water in it to compensate.
