I just had a HUGE change in mind, last night I was thinking about if I should really grow outdoors, I thought about all the thinks that could go wrong and it's just not worth it, plus it takes longer and I want bud Asap, even if it's a little bit. So today during classes I was thinking of where I could grow, My room was a definite no no, But then I thought of the attic! or Crawls space under the house (It's actually big enough to walk upright) So now I changed the idea of growing outdoors, I'm gonna grow in one of the two, but both have ups and downs,
The attic get extremely hot when the dun is shining and really cold when it's cold because it's not insulated, but the crawls space may have mice and I'm not sure if theres outlets down there.
I am gonna stealth grow and I want to force it to bud as soon as I can but still produce atleast and ounce of bud, What ways would I do that.
And I'm guessing a normal Heating lamp (not really a heating lamp) would not work?

this is the stupidest proposal i've heard for some time. unless your parents are hippies you are going to get caught and your ass kicked.

What? Our attic and crawlspace are pretty much never seen, I am the only one who ever goes in them. Plus my dad is a semi-hippie
What exactly is gonna get me caught?

When the female cannabis plant starts to bloom and gets closer to harvesting and cultivation time, it stinks to high heaven. The smell itself would let anyone know.
Besides, an attic would be musty and cannabis needs a clean air flow for greater yields.

Oh, Well my crawlspace has only 1 entrance and is pretty airtight, and also we have a skunk that skunks our backyard every once in a while so that's a good cover up, But is it strong enough to go through a door if it's in the corner 25 feet in the foot in a box.

You'll always always always want ventilation. Especially if it's in an enclosed musty attic and you intend to keep the entrance closed. As for the smell, that depends and can change from each strain of cannabis. But if it's airtight and the entrance is 25 feet away, I think that'd work perfectly(anyone else agree/disagree)?
But really, without a good ventilation source or chance for clear airflow, it might be tough, and you don't want your parents to be an accessory to any federal crime. I wouldn't even bother, and don't condone breaking any laws. Assuming you're in a place where it's legal to grow though...
I have a theoretical solution to this problem. I guess a way around that might be to clean the attic like hell. Like REALLY. Disinfect the hell out of it, clean it, make sure it's the cleanest place in the world. No open insulation, no carpets, nothing. After cleaning/disinfecting and making sure there's no airborne contaminants (because there will be) and no seams anywhere, lay down material that is black on one side and metallic (like tinfoil) on the other side. This can reflect light while the dark side (facing the wall) on the other hand can stop mold from growing and keep any chance of a contaminant from posing any threats.
The second part of this would be to place fans, and a humidifier on one end of the attic and a dehumidifier on the other end to produce the greatest effect. But really, without and stable air flow like a window... it's going to be damned near impossible. And as the summer comes and heat rises, it might fuck up your artificial growing environment.
I advise don't even bother.

I would have to say growing in a dry hot attic just isn't a good idea one spark and there goes the entire house.

seriously, growing in your parents home without their knowledge will only lead to trouble. if they are aware of it and approve then ok, i can't believe that you are even considering it if not lol
MJ plants stink more than you could ever imagine. i used to be able to smell my grows half way down the street.
remember that your plants will need daily attention so crawling around in the attic on a daily basis is bound to raise suspicion...

really did you have extra stinky plants? You probably didn't use a carbon filter, or any odor control devices?

Definitely agree. This proposition of trench coat growing is not a good idea.
The plant is also bound to suffer because of the non-ideal growing conditions. Even if it does work the yield would be small or the potency weak.

i did have a carbon filter but it wasn't really enough for the area i had full of plants. smell wasn't too much of an issue though as i didn't have any neighbours too close at that particular location.

Carbon filters are great, but for larger grows a ozone gen may be required followed by a carbon filter.
