Two things. 1. Learn all the deadly/dangerously poisonous mushrooms before you go hunting. Learn how to distinguish the deadly's from the actives, they look similar in your area(stunzi+cyans look similar to Galerinas). 2. We appreciate when people use propper grammar(not AOL 1337 speak) on the boards, it just makes you look more mature.
As far as hunting goes, in Washington, you'd be looking for Ps. cyanescens and maybe Ps. stunzii. You'd look mainly in woodchips for Cyans. Do a search on those species and you'll find more than enough info.

"AOL 1337 speak" = AOL script kiddie, h4x0r wannabe kind of grammar (1337 = [e]leet). no offence intended.

If you're not the reading/research type and you just want the information readily available in a neat little package that you can open and simply microwave for a refreshing treat.....then you're probably not the type of person who should be looking for mushrooms, much less using them......try stamp collecting.

I'm not so much referring to your lack of reading skills (which you have made readily apparent by your poor interpretation of my previous entry), but more toward your lack of patience/consideration to detail, which are both essential qualities you must posses in order to pursue this hobby. Your lack of spelling and grammar also proves that you lack the patience to revise and look things over more than once. It's a tell tale sign of an amateur...especially an unobservant and ignorant amateur. You said your lack of spelling and grammar is due to you being 18 years old and smoking a lot of pot. Well, I'm 19, and I smoke a lot of pot, and I don't seem to have the same problems, so maybe you should just pay more careful attention to how you present yourself on this site....nobody likes dealing with somebody who's not willing to truly understand this hobby (even the boring parts). You must be methodical and scientific in order to fully enjoy the benefits of this hobby, and sadly, I don't think you are the type of person for this. It's not a criticism of you personally, I'm just trying to warn you so you don't do something stupid, because I know people who don't appreciate the sensitivity involved in "safe mycology" and they often get in over their heads. So for your safety, and our sanity, please go away.

*sigh* You really needed to read that advise he gave, it was some good advice. What Shaddler said is called constructive criticism. What you just said is what we moderators like to call a flame, and they're not tolerated on these boards. You ruined your own thread, so now I've got to lock it.
