The amount to ingest will depend on the type of strain you will be consuming. I would also suggest that you try to stay away from a level 4-5 trip unless you have exp. with other psychedelics. If you find out what type of shrooms you will be eating, then check out the dosage calculator here on the shroomery. It is by no means exact, but it can give you an estimate. In fact, shroom tripping has a lot of variables. Set and setting play huge factors in trip intensity. As for prices, I don't have a clue.

It's diffrent for everyone, i know poeple who hit a level 3 from 2 grams, i on the other hand have to take a full 1/8 and upwards. it's 90% likely that the only strain your dealer will have is cubensis, this is by far the most grown strain. If i were you i would take about half the 1/8th my first trip, because an 1/8 can totally blow some people away and a bad first trip can turn you off to shrooms entirely. I tripped with one of my friends once..it was his first time..and i always had tripped off an 1/8th...so i gave him an 1/8th...big mistake..he was on the floor all night talking about the government and aliens laughing uncontrollably by himself...then at the end he started flipping out.....he won't trip at all now because his first trip was so bad.Anyway have fun and be careful..and remember you can always take more your next time. -Primate ------------------

hey i just want to say HAVE FUN MAN !!!! shrooms are great..
i suggest taking 2 or 3 grams on a first time
it will make sure you have a good time...
but not too much to like give you a bad trip because it is your first time... peace...have a nice trip... ------------------

I would suggest taking half an eighth your first time. That's what I took, and it was my best trip yet. Bet hey, that could be just me.

To find the number of shrooms required for a Level X trip, divide your body weight in nanograms by the trip level. Remember to double the dosage if you're eating Semilanceata. What kind to buy? Go for the Amanita Phalloides (also known as Psilocybe Dickwadensis). Prices? Is that in dollars, yen, or pounds and shillings? In England, they're about a guinea a bushel.

you should ask your friends who have tripped before about that sort of thing. potency depends on strain, when they were picked, and what type of evironment theyve been kept in since they were picked. i took a half eighth my first time and it wasnt all that great. the second time i took a full eighth and i truely tripped for the first time. personally i would recommend an eighth. yeah, there is the risk of freaking out your first time, but if you do, you probably would have ended up not liking shrooms eventually. on the other hand, you dont want to have a weak trip your first time, you want it to be memorable. as for how much, that greatly depends on where you live. where im from, they run about $10 an eighth but ive heard of them costing as much as $50 an eighth in other states.

i really appreciate all of this info i'm getting from you guys. thanks alot. i may or may not get hooked up with 1/8 tomorrow, i talked to this guy at school that said he might be able to get them for me tomorrow. if not, i'll just get them the next day. i'll probably take from 2-3 grams of it... i have another question: what species are liberty caps, and are they good?

What you've ben doing recently. What you've had to eat recently. Any other drugs you've taken recently. The only person who can answer all these questions is you. So you need to know that you should be thinking about all of these things before throwing something into your body just because a drug dealer told you it was good shit! If you have no idea what you're after, what it looks like or what it's going to do to you, then you could find yourself buying any old crap, including 'shrooms that can kill you dead. well, thanks to you guys and some experienced friends, i now know what i am talking about and how much the general prices of shrooms are. so i now know enough that i will no longer be wearing the sign saying, "I know nothing. Please rip me off," as sasquatch so eloquently put it. thanks for all your help guys, and look for my trip report fairly soon!
