Dunking vs cold shocking?

Ok.. I am going to birth cakes and grow from the cakes... people tell me to cold shock, and others tell me to dunk.. what is preferred? what is better?

Do both. Both are good, combined they are better.

why not do both... submerge them in water and stick them in the fridge... it doesn't matter if they are fresh out of the incubator and are showing primordia, just leave them in for about 4-6 hours, and after every flush put them in for another 9-12 hours, and you should have larger heathier fruits, and more flushes.
