does anyone think there are any other good metals to invest in besides silver and gold? and besides platinum and palladium.
someone said gallium, but from my research, a very small amount of the stuff cost a very large amount of money that i dont have.
what other kinds of metals could a person invest in, particularly, rare ones?!

Check out the periodic table; elements 57 to 71 are considered REE, which stands for rare earth elements. All of them are used in mostly high tech applications such as batteries, jet engines, etc. There are very few rare earth mines in the world, and the main ones are in China. China recently reduced the export quota for REE's from 55,000 tons per year to 36,000 tons per year. Invest in mining companies that will produce REE's so that you get exposure to all the elements. One is Great Western Minerals Group GWG - TSX -V, which also has processing facilities in US and UK. Another is Lynas Corp in Australia, and they are building processing facilities in Malaysia.
NOTE: DO NOT buy company stock because of what I wrote here. Do your own due diligence and come to your own conclusion(s).

(Bump - Nice foresight!) Lynas Corp was at $.12 when you posted this. It closed at $1.34 today.
China has been scaring the shit out of almost all nations, as of late, threatening to cut off the global market for the raw commodities. It's such a threat to modern technologies that many international tech companies are relocating their manufacturing facilities to China to secure their supply. China is hijacking the world's economies with their monopoly of Rare Earth Elements.
Wish I would've seen this post sooner.
