Colonized BRF jars to BRF BAGS?

To EXPAND someones fully colonized brf...
Idea: Step 1 PC BRF (as usual)(With a fork wrapped in tin foil)...then let jars sit for 1 week (holes uncovered? or air tight?) then; if no signs of Contams...
Step 2: Bake oven bags @400f for an hour(or longer?)
Step 3: In a GB, transfer the Brf *from jars) into oven bags using the fork) Step 4: For every 4 jars;(above) break up ONE fully colonized cake; (in really small peices)(in another bag) and then "Knock up" the oven bag with the Fully COlonized peices Sqush and squeeze and mix it all around.REALLY WELL.
Step 5. cut little 3inch slits in the top of the oven bag horizontally;(like 3r4?)and then cover with micropore tape... wrap it up and incubate (in dark)...
...I KNOW that this will work, b/c I've seen it; but don't remember where? I think it mighta been mycotopia? either way... Just wanted to make sure I'm not forgetting something? and so any ADVICE/TRICKS/TIPS would be appreciated! Thanks!
NOT THAT I PLAN ON DOING THIS- Just, you know,... for FUTURE REFERENCE!;)

What you going to do with a blob of melted plastic? Be sure to open your windows because it's going to really stink and make a lot of smoke. RR

lol. Thanks RR! see? now I'm SO GLAD I posted this before Some guy(not me) tried it! I am SO proud of myself! ...I'm LEARNING! (imagine that)
I finally accepted that I'm not as smart as I think I am and that it's a good Idea to bounce my ideas off other people! WOW!
...but/and/so, You didn't give me any advice; I mean, WHAT? how should some guy "Sterilize" the bags or does he even NEED TO? My guess is that that dude could just put about a capful of h2o2 in there and it wouldn't hurt anything, hell the bags are FAIRLY sterile straight outta the box arn't they? whatcha think?
Some Guy REALLY DOES APPRECIATE THE HELP RR! You're the man!

get the filter patch bags from the sponsor list, mad or mycopath. the oven bags don't work too well from what I have read, i always use the filter patch bags.
if you make your own bags, like i do, yes you have to sterilize them in a pc. the h202 thing isn't too reliable, I'm not even sure if that would work at all. but if you buy them already made, then yes you can use them out of the box. but keep in mind, what it costs to buy one bag, you can easily make 8 on your own.
and yes you can transfer a cake to a bag. Ive done it several times. but you want to prolly do it in a gb, or at least a very small still air room like I do. and work fast.

I use the vacuum sealer bags seal one end fill with Pasteurized hpoo cut out a square near the top tape a piece of tyvek to it and the clip it closed at the top I guess I could seal it again but no need really. The crumbled brf goes to town on the hpoo colonizes in about a week then I fruit these like myco-bags. I discovered this on accident as I had just a little too much of these things laying around. I really pulverized the brf to didn't think it would work put in a warm dark place and a week later it was solid white with rhizo growth spreading through the air!!!

Oh wait, See you musta missed it, He's PCing the brf IN JARS then dumping em into the oven bag later. it could be ANY BAG, hell I could use a gallon Ziplock bag... the only reason I was thinking oven bag is so that I could bake it! what if I would have said bake the bag @ 350? SURELY they can take that! SO? Yeah? read the OP again. The question then becomes will the peroxide "Hold Off" contams long enough for the myc to get a grip on it? ...my guess is YEAH! but IDK?

sorry to say thats got failure written all over it. peroxide tek doesnt work. it shouldnt even be a tek. i might be wrong, but its not the jus the heat in the pc that sterlizes it, its also the pressure. yeah you could try, but try would successful failure on your hands im sure

The point is moot because you don't do brf to brf transfers. If you want more product, transfer your colonized brf to horse manure or coir. As for oven bags, they survive only if they have stuff inside them. The steam from the food you're cooking keeps the surface of the bags from exceeding 250F maximum, but they rarely ever even get that hot. RR
