Heres a little something

Ok just stick with this, I don?t know if I even believe this but it was fun thinking of. I use the bible as a reference even though i don?t believe in it, so if you cant take this seriously because of that, just read and laugh
When teaching little kids about Adam and eve, they are told that eating the apple made them smarter. The word smarter is meant to say, they became more like the way we live today (becoming civilized), they clothed themselves, they made shelter, and they gained shame. Eating the apple was against the will of god, and got them banished from the garden. So, point one is that gaining shame and becoming civilized/socialized/domesticated is not approved by god.
Point two is even shakier. Every being on the planet is run by two drives. One is to survive, and two is to reproduce. Animals all have ways of obtaining mates, bears will gather lots of food, birds will puff out their feathers to look bigger, every creature (stereotypically the male) has their own way of proving themselves a suitable/preferred mate. Humans do the same thing, they amass wealth, houses, cars, and so on. They also work on self-improvement. Making their bodies different through working out, or just buying clothes to make themselves more attractive. All of this is becoming civilized/socialized/domesticated. In the words of Tyler Durdan ?Self-improvement is masturbation.? Humans have taken showing off for sex to a extreme far above that of any other animal. One might think that unwillingness to have sex is the cause of our society?s rapid advancement. SO to make this a little simpler and much funnier
civilization = against gods will Unwillingness to mate = civilization
Unwillingness to mate = against gods will.
Just a little something

but the apple was just a test for adam and eve... maybe like after a week or two of obeying god and not eating the apple he would have said "you are good children and you did as you were told, here... you can go ahead and eat this apple now."
eating the apple wasn't the real issue, the issue was disobeying god... (i think, i don't remember the whole story off hand)

since He is the All knowing God, wouldn't he have known that they would eat the apple? It's all His fault.

why do we view the apple as being negative!
if anything it was the first psychedelic that man took ... man woke up on that day but then he had to take some responsiblity.
ok so you dont want to eat from my hand ... you have to work the land
so you dont want to be naked ... you have to wear animal skins
eve you give birth, adam you work the land
and one last thing .... you know about death now!

I wonder what you all think of this. If God is all knowing, and he knew that man would eat the apple. Maybe the story of Adam and Eve was not about the living world.
Paradise = Heaven and Apple = Choice.
I feel that I am a Christain, but I not in a great hurry to get to heaven. Life is a lesson to make us better people if not humans. Maybe we all chose the apple in one form or another and that is what life is. The idea of reincarnation has always seem like a nice one. Even if we were in heaven would we be happy. Most people I know can't be happy unless they're messing something up, and if heaven is perfect they would be crazy if they couldn't leave.

"If we are unaware of good and evil, as most animals appear to be, than perhapse we cannot be held accountable for our sins. If this train of thought is used it can be seen as god being protective. "
PsilosKube: yeah, but wasn't it a sin to eat the apple? And, following what you just said (wich makes sense, by the way), then we shouldn't have been held responsible for it...

or maybe they were on hallucinogens the whole time, and the apple sobered them up?
