Do any of you know of a possible way to speed the growth of mycelium?

optimal growing parameters - under what conditions are you growing? there may be many factors, temp being the most important. if you want help, you got to give us more info

Also add more spores? Dark Syringes are susposed to colonize faster and strain may help a little more so like PR i hear its a very fast colonizer. more innoc points?

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.

adding more spores would be useless. focus on the optimal growing parameters - that's all & enough

Actuallly.... adding more spores is the easiest way to decrease the total colonization time of a jar. More inoculation points, faster colonization. For instance, you inoculate one jar, in one point. that one growth point has to spread throughout the entire jar. now, take another jar, inoc on one side of the jar, turn around, inoc on the other side of the jar. 2 inoculation points, which spread and meet in the middle. half the time.
At least, thats what makes the most sence, and has worked for me. Also, another disadvantage of inoculating in only one spot, by the time mycelium completely covers the jar, the nutrients at the original inoculation point will be far lower than the nutrients at the last spot colonized. Be warned though, more inoculation points means more chance of contaminants.
have fun

I use four different innoculation sites on the lid of the jar.

Optimal temps when incubating. G2G transfers make for FAST colonization. 10 days to 2 weeks average for quart jars to 100% colonize. Other than that, your at the mercy of nature.

With multi/spore syringe innoc. I "swivel" the syringe & try to get a small squirt in 4 corners & one in the center.

once you've mastered everything else, you can move to liquid inoculant, which obtains the absolutely fastest colonization. contam risks are also esponentially higher

Im my experience (as short as its been!) Syringes I make myself, dark ones, colonize faster than the liquid I've used. This goes for Pf's and Grains.
