I was taught cursive in about 3rd grade too, but I never used it...my cursive these days would look like a 3rd grader did it.  That's still better than most adults though...

I should start practicing, it's easier on the hands...

My cursive sucked, too. I used it up until high school. I've used print since then.

The breaker panel in my house is labeled in cursive.  :wtf:

Also, I remember when typing was a legitimate skill. Do they still teach typing in high school?

I don't know about typing, but I would assume it's still being taught...just considering all the jobs that require typing skills these days.


I hated the damn homerow....I'm a two finger typer, but I'm pretty fast.

Calligraphy cursive is different that the type of cursive we learn in school. Its more of an artistic form of cursive.

Yeah on the cursive thing. It was taught in 2 03rd grade in Texas. As a matter of fact I was writing in cursive before they taught it and the teacher made me print. :sad: I excelled in english, reading, and art. Spelling bee's and all that. Cursive has gone the way of the dodo, lol. It will be like calligraphy now.
