Fish tank gravel is a nice aesthetic. Cacti that are rot prone, such as lophs, benefit from it. I really like the black gravel. It makes em pop.

At first all I could find was black gravel with about 2% purplish pink gravel in it. I paid my kids to dig through about 5 gallons worth and remove all that pansy shit

Yeah, try explaining a XL clear Rubbermaid container full of perlite to your kids. Fuck that shit. Mono tubs and rye bags. Its the only way to be sneaky anymore. I bet they are wondering what that glow is coming from underneath the bedroom closet door.

Well, I have slightly larger sized "pot rocks" that I got at Lowes. Its kinda beige. I use it in 2 gal pots or larger. Its much cheaper. I think its better than black for taller columnar cacti. We should do a video "Cacti Eye For the Straight Guy".

Thats is, I'm claiming it as my copyright. :crazy2:
