Speaking of potency, I've always heard that the cap is more potent than the stem. Does anybody know how much more potent they are, and if so, are the stems even worth eating???

Stems and Caps are the same. This question has been asked at least 20 times before.

If you do a simple search function you can easily find the answer to that and most other questions you have.

i dunno about that. all the people i kno say that if u eat more caps u will get more visuals but if u eat more stems u will get more of a body high.

Listen to Lilskit as I have just done that this past Saturday and it was a blast. It's the best combo I think to get you higher.

I think it might be different for everyone. Last time I ate a ton of baby mushrooms and I felt light as air and I had the most intense visuals ever. Another time I did have one large stem and like half a cap, and I really didn't have that many visuals. Who knows? Psilocybe will always be a mystery.

actually, size does not matter. It has been said that pins and abhorts are more potent. However, a big shroom is just as potent as a small one.

ITs the dry weight that determines how you will trip, and you've got to realize this. Also, neither caps nor stems have more potency. They're all apart of a single fruiting body and all contain the same genetics.

Yep tis is true..cap's and stems have the same potency(that ? is asked at least once a day on the board). Princess..maybe your babies were abhorts....or maybe it was just a better flush..sometimes i will take 5 grams and trip reallly hard..and other times i have taken as much as 7 grams, and just had a nice trip..nothing intense.
