start small, 2lbs is alot of fungi to dive right into and you'll encounter alot of problems if u dive right in...

You want 2 lbs per month. Hmmmm, smells a little fishy. Is that wet or dry?
2 lbs Dry=907.185 grams
2 lbs wet= 90.7185 grams

Dry, no, not if you are a newbie. Wet, yeah why not. Why exactly would you want 2 lbs of mushrooms anyway, you'd never be able to eat all those by yourself, hey wait a minute..........

not at all. You'll just need about 225 cakes. so i'd use about 30 or so 10 gallon aquariums. if your pc holds 8 half pinters, you'll have to run about 30 loads, so that's really about one a day to keep this system going. If your a newbie, you'll wanna order the sprres cause you likely don't have sterility down. that'll be $200, but somebody will probably cut you a better deal than that.

Christ man. Don't be so friggin greedy. You haven't even birthed a cake for cryin out loud. Just start with 12 jars or so (since they usually come in a dozen). Case half of them and try some as cakes if you want. In a lucid dream i've been having, I innoculated 12 PF jars about two full moons ago and I now have hyphal knots on two 2-cake casings. Don't have any fruits yet.

By the way, any growers: How long would you expect before hyphal knots begin pinning. The strain is yipi lai cased with 50/50+. Temps are between 73 and 76 degrees and humidity is high. The network looks good. Been about 5 days since the knots formed but no pins yet................

What major metropolis are you trying to supply? My squirrel does a couple pounds a year, but they are for him and the other squirrels in the tree. The wrath of the shroom gods will deliver the green if you use their sacrament to make green.

but the dry weight only comes out to 1/10 give or take of the wet weight

15 quart jars, 3-4 20 gal rubbermaids. Since you're a newbie at growing I'd say it's not that possible. But if you spawned some poo via the Pavlov's Dog tek,it is possible to obtain that. But you might as well forget it man,it's like saying you're gonna buy a new Mercedes with a months salary at McDonald's. You shouldn't publicly post things like "Shooting for 2 lbs per month" that's asking for attention.But all I grow is edibles so it won't affect me,do what you want.
