Wanna try something REEEEEEALLLLYYYYY wierd while tripping? Try playing a computer game, preferably a first-person with really colorful visuals and just plain trippy stuff in the game. Unreal, a space-sim, System Shock 2 (REALLY SCARY WHILE TRIPPING!)------------------ What a long, strange trip it's been... -Jerry Garcia

I must absolutely agree with insaneone... the Hoberman Sphere is a 'must try' during a trip. Especially if you have the one that glows in the dark and use it under a blacklight!

You mean like a totem or something? No, never. Closest we ever came to trip toys was a bunch of freebie CDs off PC adslabs. Never played with them by playing with their reflective optical properties, we ended up adding them to pieces of beach art that we found, or tying them to trees. You say you took the oldest along to guide you? There have been some reports of people taking (sacred?) objects along on a trip - objects of which they wished to ask a question, or divine more information. The idea of taking some live peyote along on a trip is intriguing. Thank you very much.

Grin, when I am in a level 5 trip I don't care about anything cause I am tottaly of the world. But in a little lighter trip I like to look at my lava-lamp or whatch some weird movies. What dreams may become is kewl. Its a romantic movie but with surrealistic surroundings. Space-truckers will do to or that las vegas movie with jhonny depp. Blowing soapbells is kewl too.Throomy

as far as computer games go, try the neverhood. the whole game is claymation, with really fucked up music. and there is one part where there is a huge shroom growing, looks sort of like a giant amanita. ------------------ We trip the 'shrooms fantastic And shit gets drastic elbow pull and kick -311

For years, my constant companion for the really intense trips was a coyote skull I'd gotten while travelling cross country. Beautiful, and with an almost full set of teeth. I always found it very reassuring to have around. It sorted of acted as an object to focus back in on when things got a little too intense. Besides, ya always want to have the trickster on your side when your out there....damn, I miss that coyote. ------------------ "reality" is the only word in the English language that should ALWAYS appear in quotes.

My friend bought a huge neon green bouncy ball at WalMart, and that thing was kickass on my last trip. My friend put his blue lightup laser keychain behind it and it glowed huge!!! Hella cool!

I've got to say silli putty. Either the glow-in-the-dark or the heat-sensitive kind are nice.

Yeah, man, I've got a few pounds of regular coral silly putty, its an awesome trip toy. When I have friends over and we're tripping everybody ends up playing with a big wad of it.

Fireworks.I suggest that you either go to a professional show, or that you have a sober friend use them. Next time with them, you could let THEM trip and YOU could be the baseline person doing the pyro.

I found a multi-color bear beanie-baby. Very happy, always friendly. Whenever I go out altered I usually put him in my coat's front pocket, hold him for comfort if need be.(of course, to everyone else it looks like I'm slapping myself but oh hell) ------------------ I am the queen of punk rock.

Hackey Sacks are great trip companions! Also, tripping is a great way to break in a new hackey sack. If you are holding a new hackey sack in your hand when you first peak, you will not stop sqeezing it, let alone put it down until you return. I guarantee you, by the time you're finished tripping, that Hackey Sack will be completely broken in.
