ATTN SPORWORKS.COM WORKERS.

1.Hello I recently purchased 4 Philosopher's Bags. Its been about 3 weeks and all bags are almost all white. Except one bag has a large patch that is complety Black. Does this mean it is contaminated? And if so is there anything you could do for me?

2. My second problem is that i was hasty when i made my order. I wanted the Myco Environment Bag but i bought the Philosopher's Bags . Will they still grow the same way with Puerto Ricans?

Thanks you for your suggestions

1. YES you can trow your bag (only the cantaminated one )
2. As you can read on Sporeworks' website, Philosopher's Bag use a substrate " specially designed for sclerotia producing species". Therefore, you can't use them with any specie. A cube strain won't fruit out of this substrate. However, as you will have harvested your stones, you can fill them with grain and innoc with anything...

Actually, you can use the bags for cubensis. I've read several posts that state that it does work, it just yields less than grain.

The Philosopher's Bags will not work for cubensis. Therre is no open space for shrooms go grow, except invirto. I think they will grow off of grass seed,...but, I cant remember.

I meant that cubensis will grow on rye grass seed. I'm not positive about what's in those philosopher's bags but I'm sure it contains some rye grass seed, it'll work ok.

Good point, I forgot the purpose of those myco environment bags. I just assumed that it would be cased for some reason. I'm just too stoned to be posting.

Damn this is very upsetting. I was really hoping to have some mushrooms for Christmas time. Another foolish mistake made on my part by not reading enough. What if I wait till the bag is completely white and crush it up in a tray with something and throw it in a Tupperware container with perlite. Would this work?

Thank you.

Jee thanks your an inspiration to us all and a big help for pointing out that I posted on the wrong forum Raadt. Why would you even take the time to post if this is in the wrong forum. This is advanced cultivation to me and I searched other threads without the luck of finding answers

It amazes me that some one that does shrooms can be such a fucking dick

Perhaps Raadt is suggesting that if you are still in need of contacting Sporeworks.com (As the title would imply), your post would fair much better in the vendors forum (as it is more common place for a vendor to look regarding their customers), or better yet e-mail them. I am in now way trying to be a "dick", but merely trying to help you with the original question.

Sorry but I am new to this and I have been growing other
' things" for many  years. I belong to a few message boards and im I for one am sick of people saying wrong forum bla bla. I never do this to newbie's. I may help them then tell them next time post some where else but that's it. All I asked was a question and was seeking an answer. I got it and  thank you those who helped and may a timely death come to those who did not.
