Pinwheel is a great program even when sober..
I really like the optical illusion..
It really fouls your brain..
Ive tried it while high on grass and that was kinda cool...

yeah, that is a kick ass program, i would like to see more optical illusions like it. Because i know it's posible. the person who first really discovered the "motion afterafect" was looking at a waterfall for a while. watching the water fall, and then suddinly he looked at the nearby rocks and they started to move up, in the opposite direction of the water. if this could be done in a similar pinwheel type program, i think we could enter a new world in optical illusions ...

There are acctually other programs trying to make the same type off optical-illusion..
I think one was called "mind-warp"...
Ive tried about 4 or 5 of these programs but none works as good as pinwheel does..

I really like pinwheel. turn on the old blacklight, stick on the headphones with some tripped out tunes, then look away every now and again and it's like, "whoa it's like I'm on drugs, but I'm not" gives me a headache after a while though. still crazy.

I do indeed love the pinwheel. But, what is better on the computer is to make one in real life. you can find a picture of it on an optical allusion site or something or take a still frame of your computer screen. Then i inlarge the picture because it seems that the thicker the swirls widths are, the more distortion there is. after that you print it out and put it on some cardboard and position it on an old fan, or motor or whatever, then you can take it anywhere. also, you can add a dimmer switch to it so you won't have to slow it down with your finger, though, you might, then, want to use something besides cardboard to support it because of it's weight. anyways......
also, i wonder, if instead of black and white, if you used two other complimentary colors, like green and red or something???
