How many can you fit on the bottom layer?  (All the ones you have standing up.)  It's a little hard to see..  And jeeze, if that is the case I'd never get it.  Doesn't the AA941 have the same inside space dimensions??  =o =o =o ??

Don't stack jars sideways.  Load as shown in your second picture.

it's likely that whoever you heard could fit 19 in had different jar types. I have some jars that I can fit 9 in and some I can fit 10 in my PC. You may have to find different jars, or just deal with it, or do bags like the above poster said.

In the second pic it looks like you can fit one more on the bottom rack, and have you tried making hte jars circle the outside on the top rack? it looks like you might be able to fit one more in the center then.

It's funny and great how you can attract people to a post by offering a prize...

I can not fit one more in any pic. I have tried to alternate the jars upside down and everything. I'm actually quite disappointed!!

I was able to do 14 with my 2 cheepo mirro PC's.

haha like I said you need either shorter/wider or taller/narrower jars to make it work. One way to make it work easy would be to ask whoever it was who told you it would fit 19 what brand or dimensions of jars they were using.

Shoot them an email, I know in the US we mainly have kerr and ball jars with slightly different dimensions. I'm sure there are other manufacturers that offer different ones as well. I've seen round and square jars for sale, which may also be beneficial.

Go for it I'm not going to email them for you. Unless the prize is a P. ostreatus print.

Man you spent your money on that, email them for sure.  If your spending that much on that they shouldnt lie to you. It may not seem like your gaining ground by having that, but on the bright side you could possably fill your 2 smaller pcs, and pc all 3. do like 28 jars.  Even if you don't want to do that, im sure being able to pc anytime almost any place will come in handy a lot.

Somthing to consider is looking for differant shaped jars.  I personally have 2 or 3 differant style jars, im sure you have more than me though.  Not lookin for a prize or anything by the way.  But good luck, and about the leak, all i can offer is if those have the rubbber seal around the inside of the lid, take it out and soak in warm awater for like 10 mins than put it back in.  Thats what I did with mine when it sprung some side leaks and it did the trick.

$840 for self heating PC vs. fixing your stove.

.... who uses a stove anymore for cooking food?

One of the pristine factors to an AA PC is the metal on metal seal. I honestly just didn't think I had it on tight enough. Don't wanna go overnighting it on my first go around

It is quite upsetting to find out it didn't hold as much as I thought, but the convince factor of not doing it in the kitchen when company comes over. That was the Primary objective

But 14!!!  :argh:

Let this be a lesson to all

Hell, I still use my Mirro. It only does 6 jars at a time. Years ago, I had a 22, but it was stolen. Check this out, someone breaks into my house, totally misses my valuables and growroom, yet steals a fucking PC?
Anyways, I hope you find it worth it. Seems it achieved your objective...

It does, and more importantly it'll also hopefully lead to me putting this thing on a timer.

Or even more be able to hook it to a secure web cam and a internet controlled ioBridge. Be able to PC shit straight from the iPhone

lqtm something tells me the timer may be better and cheaper. Though If you wanted to automate your greenhouse through your Iphone that may be a good idea.

That trivet looks awfully tall.  I'll bet you could cut it down half an inch or so if that's all you need for more room.

Neither of the 2 PC's I ever owned had one. Instead of towels or rags, I line the bottom with jar rings. I doubt that would be effective at this size...
