Another vote for Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Name one later Floyd song that rocked as hard as "Astronomy Domine." I think my user name might give this away, but I'm a huge Syd fan. I just wish more of you could hear some of the bootlegs of unreleased and rare Floyd material I have, great songs such as Scream Thy Last Scream, Candy and a Currant Bun, Apples & Oranges, and of course Syd's slightly bizarre/weird/vulnerable solo material, which I won't even try to get into.

Saucerful of Secrets and Piper are both great. Being an old fart at 39, I can remember tripping on REAL LSD and listening
to both of these. Now my recent indulgence into shrooms has
me re-living those old memories and songs. There's something about the childness of these recordings that triggers certain
emotions, memories and feelings. I guess that psychedelic drugs imitate the feelings of the child in that they allow you to
experience these things in the way a child experiences things
for the first time. I'm on a tangent here, but does anyone else feel the same way?
This is what makes Pink Floyd so unique!

Pink Floyd Echoes is no doubt an awesome Cd, but recently i got Obscured By Clouds, one of their lesser known ones and it is awesome as well, i strongly recommend it.
