Nesco Food Dehydrator

Nesco 425 watt 5 tray Food Dehydrator

This is the best food dehydrator i could find around so i just bought it. i hope it will work well. Any suggestions?

i heard about dismantling heating elements etc ... i tried to find one that doesnt use heat but didnt have much luck.

I could find ones that didnt use fans but they all seemed to use some type of heat. This is actually the only one i could find that uses a fan.

Anyone have experience using this particular Dehydrator? i just hope not to dry up all my psilocybin  here is the product manual ...

I have one no compliants. They take about 7 hours to do a full load. If you only have 1-3 racks about 3-4 hours.

I almost bought that model. I heard it was a fine model just a bit louder than their more premium lineup. But it works great so who cares. I'm just going to spend the extra 20 bucks and get the nicer one.

don't worry about the heating elements.  i have a ronco that doesn't have a fan - just heat - and it works fine.

it's a myth that heat degrades psilocybin...  i know this from experience (e.g. tea, grilling and cooking fresh shrooms, etc.) but if you do some searching you'll see that the forum heros say this as well.

Word I agree. I dried a bunch of mushrooms once in an oven. They were some mutated PE's too. I only took 1.5  gs and I was lifted for 6 hours.

Hey how well does that ronco dry your product I saw someone on craigslist sell it for 15 bucks new in box is it worth picking up?
