when?

my friend dunked a cake for about 15 hours. after he put it in his terrarium. it's been about 4 or 5 days and
does not see any pins. how long could it take?

Some take way longer than others. Just have patience. You may want to try adding an icepac to you terrarium or something to lower temps to help initiate pinning. Also, fan a bunch.

faster results can sometimes be seen by cold shocking a casing, that is; cover it up and put it in the fridge for 12 hours to force pinning. kinda a divergence from what was said above about putting ice water in the terrarium :wink:

my cakes didnt pin for at least 2 weeks. it depends on the conditions and the strain
