Ive been trying forever to get some shrooms, but everyone Ive gone through flakes. Its really getting annoying, so Id like to try and grow my own. Ive been looking around at instructions, and I think I have a very basic idea of what I have to do. Im thinking of ordering a spore print from the Free Spore Ring Europe, but Im in the US. Would it be discovered if it were shipped in? They do ship to the US. (Not sure if its against the forum rules to talk about that, sorry if it is). How are syringes prepared from a print? Also, will I need a syringe with a needle? I have a syringe, but it just shoots out the liquid, would it work? Next, could I grow in just one jar? Why are so many needed? I dont want a ton of shrooms on hand. And last, can regular brown rice be substituted for the flour?
Thanks

Coffee grinder + brown rice = brown rice flower.
Read more, sounds like you're on the right track. You can get by with just one jar, but they sell them in packs of 12 and one jar is gonna produce very little fruit.

There are many ways to fill up your prints, find one that suits you.
Yes you do need a syringe with a needle.
You want to get a syringe that sterile, buy it at a pharmacy.
You CAN grow in one jar, however underestimating contamination issues will haunt you for life.
Yes, organic brown rice can be used. Blending it will make it no different (better even) then brown rice flour.

Syringes can be sterilized with boiling water. So can jars that have previously had contams, though I prefer to use 10% bleach to kill everything off for a few hours first.
Organic brown rice in a blender/coffee grinder is exactly the same as brown rice flower. That is how it is made comerically.
