That movie is so brilliant it hurts. Everytime I think of that movie I get inspired
the timing, way of speech, so many small detail intentional or not makes it a Horror Masterpiece IMO

Zero character development. A total waste of 3-4 hours of your life.
It has A LOT of hidden meaning. I suppose I just love it because of the way it was explained to me. We spent like 2 weeks studying it and I came out of it with a deep appreciation for the film.

The only character in the movie I could do without is the mother for some reason I hate her. They should of stayed with the same one from house of 1000 corpses. Other than that bad ass movie, one of the best horror endings ever

Its hard to pick 3 out of the thousands of great movies but I'll go with these for now. If you can't narrow it down to 3 then you can make a bigger list.
Let me hear them!

are you just listing that as a fav to seem strange and interesting?
it's noteworthy enough i suppose, but i can't imagine anyone deriving so much pleasure from that film as to call it a favorite.
for myself i'd have to say The Life Aquatic, Once Upon a Time in the West, and (though it has been said so many times before) The Big Lebowski; in no particular order.
No really, it's not that I find it pleasurable to watch, it's that it's a work of art. Everyone I know who's seen it reacted to it very deeply. I think that's what's strange about it. You don't quite know what it means, but you have this very personal reaction to it.
The dancing lady in the radiator - single most disturbing thing i've seen in a film.
The Life Aquatic is great, I love Bill Murray in practically everything.

Yeah, I don't like much comedy unless its political or ridiculous. FGF was ridiculous, had me in stitches and I still love watching it today. I'm nearly 30 so I don't think I'm going to grow out of it
Donnie Darko is another favorite of mine and anything gangster or drug related. Scarface is a classic.
