LC Floating Mycelium?
    #9776119 - 02/10/09 11:18 PM (15 years, 1 month ago)

Ive had a LC going for about a week now and last night when i stirred it all the mycelium were sitting on the bottom of the jar and tonight when i went to shake it they were floating on the top....

I was wondering what would cause that to happen?.... Lack of gas exchange, not enough nutrients in the water? ( I originally mad a 2.75% solution... i know random) or does it just do that when it ages?

I've made quite a few LC's that worked but any that had something floating were contamm'd.  Hope I'm wrong but a small grain jar test will tell you for sure.
Good luck,

Buoyancy. For example, colonized cakes float. But the only true way to find if an LC is valid is to test it on something
