Fever hallucinations?

I know some people get weird hallucinations when they're really sick, but it never happened to me until yesterday. I got a really crazy fever, and I spent most of the day thinking about gnomes. The gnomes were controlling my life, and there were hundreds of them in my head. I had to negotiate with them as to what times I could get up and do things. I think some of the gnomes even wanted to take one of my feet as a prize. It was really fucked up. Hours went by until I realized how crazy it all was. I sat up bed, finally fully awake, and just thought, "what the fuck?!!!" The gnomes still crept into my dreams for the rest of the night, though. I wonder just how bad my fever was?
So, has anyone else had weird fever induced thoughts or hallucinations before?

Several times. I have always gotten very high fevers. The most vivid example was when I thought I was Elvis and my wife was Priscilla.
I'd been watching an Elvis bio on A&E (I'm not a big fan though) and I woke up at one point thinking I was the king and the reason I felt so bad was that I was all doped up.
It made a lot of sense at that point.

I had a delirious fever a few nights ago, funny you made that thread. I kept waking up from sleep completely disorentied and seeing walls move a bit and everything had a weird outline, and I kept getting delirious thoughts, then I'd just fall asleep. I think I also heard a few voices.

When I was little I woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and though a train was about to come through my bedroom wall and plough straght through me. I got out and ran down the stairs and my parent were in the hall and I was screaming "THE TRAIN! THE TRAIN!" and my dad was like "what train?"

Ya when I had flu when I was very young, I started having serious delusions.
I mean I stayed up in bed thinking vampires were coming to get me and when I listened to the ticking of the clock,it slowed down to the point where it was tick..........................................................................................tick..................................................................................................................tick. I couldn't comprehend it but I was sure I had gone mad. I had made some connection between the infinitely slow ticking and the vampires. Was like some hellish bad trip.
