If it's your first trip I would suggest staying at your house, out in front or back yard at the most. That way you'll be safer in a controled enviroment. Sounds like you've got some good tunes picked out and a good show. if you do go out I don't recommend driving. Just get some herb for after the peak and trust me you'll be chillin' and going no where just watching the show go on in your head.

Welcome to the shroomery Beaver!
Joe's got some good advice there. I would also suggest you prepare by getting yourselves in a positive mood. And keep any distracting people out of the picture, particularly any asshole friends that might muck things up. Other than that sounds like you got a good plan going. You might also have a good comedy tape handy, I find that I laugh my ass off when trippin' Good luck and let us know how it goes.

yea, just relax at your house -- a sunny afternoon is a nice time to trip.  set and setting are key, so just make sure you're in a comfortable environment and good state of mind.  my first trip was in public, but I prefer tripping in my own space where I can just louge around listening to music

welcome to the boards!

Thanks for the suggestions...it actually won't be for awhile because we just started growing them, so we gotta wait. Maybe we could get our hands on some before then though...

my best suggestion is to make sure either the people your with are trippin or they are really cool. when its just a group of trippers it lets everyone go out on a tangent without sober people bringing you back to reality or blowin your high. Drunk people are possibly the worst for a trip because they are reduced to stupid kiddies and it can be to much.
