Think this will turn into a circus again?
And I never heard he had a torn biceps. I guess that would explain things a bit.

If the egomaniac asshole had a torn biceps maybe he should have NOT PLAYED. I hate the Jets but Brett Favre is fast becoming one of the biggest assholes in sports in part because of how he fucked them. Why would any team want to have anything to do with him?

You know, I wouldn't use that language, but sadly, I agree to a great extent. Man, this really screwed the Jets.
Just about as bad of a way to go out, from the un-retiring circus to getting knocked out of the playoffs by the QB that they cut to make room for you. Doesn't get much worse.

Dude, Brett Favre retired. Alex Rodriguez used steroids. The Lakers are the best team in the NBA. What's next in the world of extremely unpredictable sports, Donovan McNabb gonna get hurt??????

As near as I can tell he thinks NFL stands for the National Favre League. This is the second year in a row of his bullshit. At least.

If he had taken all the cash that the Packers offered him to stay retired, I would have bailed on him. As it is, I still have nothing but love.

The Cubs winning the World Series is obviously the next item on that "My Little Sister Could've Guessed That" list...

Up until last offseason I had nothing but respect for Favre. He had been my favorite player since I was about 5. He had made mistakes, but I was willing to forgive them until then.
After the mess he made of the last year? Good fucking riddance.

yeh its all bretts fault, im sure it has nothing to do with the media being all over his balls trying to loosen his laces, or the crappy gm and coach. im sure everyone forgot about the packers and there pussy QB that fell apart "AGAIN". every time rogers gets sacked he breaks something and he's all like im gunna be roger not farve and then plays with a fucked throwing arm lol right what a wannabe .
90% of the story about farve is from the nfl horses mouth, youve Never heard the full story from farve because he's under contract. but i think he does hint at what happened if you listen close to things like his retirement speech. if you let something like the packers or the last couple years ruin your memorys then thats a shame. farve stood up even if it was to get knocked deeper in the hole,
if for example the nfl told him to retire...he did the only thing he could.

You have no idea what you're fucking talking about, homer.
Rodgers had far better numbers than Favre this year.
Also, did you ever stop to think that the reason Rodgers was hurt this year was because he was sacked so often? It's been about ten years since Favre has been sacked as many times in a season as Rodgers did this year.
Favre stuck around too long and it showed. He essentially pulled an MJ playing for the Wizards. You can tongue Favre's balls for as long as you want, but he fucked up.

I hate the fucking Packers, but Aaron Rodgers played better, with one arm, than any QB we've had in Chicago for twenty years.

yah ok richard simmons when did this become otd? oh thats right when i interupted you from stealing laces off farves balls so you could add a few to rogers.oh and roger "sure" got sacked alot prior to this year to huh asshole? first play he had broken ancle? what happened on his second game i forget? and i wonder whats all wrong with him from just this year besides the shoulder....
im sure farves contract forbids him from speaking out about certain thing so keep that in mind and watch the retirement video. "id never say anything bad about this organization" then he said some other stuff like" i hope they realize" ... now i cant remember the rest but i do remember what i thought at the time and that they gave him the boot...theres no reason to hope anything unless you just got canned and was trying to explain it. even if he wasnt forced to retire he sure as hell wasnt welcome there and them trying to bribe him is a good hint at that. how else was farve going to play on a team that wanted him? all the media bashed farve....because he wanted to play ball and they wanted the hero canned so they could hang his jersey sooner. the media begged his ass every year to retire
anyways even if he did get sacked more this year , big deal that just makes him look worse now doesnt it, he's half farves age and 2x as fast ... and farve was doing good too till the last part of the season. and the bottom line here guys is farve took a crappy team and got them to do better and rogers took a CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM and fucking BOMBED! and rogers has better WR's which is hugh on stats
you callin me names and making this personal is fukin BS and makes you a little roger 'simmons fanboy !

You're full of shit. I'd like you to prove this.
I realize you must be one of those people who worships a player as a God, so there's really no reasoning with you. Stats or rational arguments will never get to you.

You're full of shit. I'd like you to prove this.
I realize you must be one of those people who worships a player as a God, so there's really no reasoning with you. Stats or rational arguments will never get to you.
so out of everything i wrote all you have is the contract to talk about, that figuers....you know because im the unrational person here in the group. yah i don't think so...
and for the record, since you by the book, fact seeking missionarys are so quick to take opinions as fact....id better clarify i never said there WAS something in the contract, i said "im sure there is" aka "i bet there is". but i nor anybody else i know has one to look at, so i can only base it off what i see and hear regarding players actions. plus i imagine the contract is about 500 pages long and unreadable to anybody but someone skilled at reading lots and lots of loopholes that basicly amount to "i own your bass" in regards to the player.
as such, one would assume anything a player says about an organization could be seen as damaging to the brand, aka nfl or packers. hence the "i would never say anything bad about the organization". if farve damages the packer name he would be sued, and like i said im sure they have something, somewhere regarding this as a loophole to sue people.as an example, any player that says a referee is cheating the game gets fined....at least i seen it in plenty of news articles. im sure this is also why they tried to start shit about the vikings talking to farve on the phone, because they wanted him canned. i mean come on they were playing dirty, they hated farve, kicking him off the team wasn't good enough, he had to be out of the nfl. they tried screwing him with the vikings deal, tried bribing him....lol this shit is easy to read with my eyes.
oh and i never even looked at the stats till now because i watched quite a few of their games. anyways im sure you will find this very surprizing since....since im the one who has a god complex regarding stats and might i add unrational arguments...
roger had 34 sacks farve had 3 sacks...wait i missed a zero it was 30....yah farve has never seen 34 sacks tho i must admit....wait fuck i did it again!! its my god complex getting to me i think, in 1996 he had 40 sacks! and in 1998 he had 38 sacks.
but anyways if roger drinks alot of milk im sure he will be a really good QB, i just think its bullshit all the hacking thats going on with farve over a bunch of bullshit that really wasn't all his fault. i mean he got to the fukin championship game last year...how the hell could he put the ball down after coming so close. you can say he stayed to long in hindsight...but in the moment no, no he didn't...he made a choice anybody else would have made. and people cast him out for that, thats what upsets me, like everything else he did in the past doesn't matter.
