ok if a cake hadn't started to pin after about 3 weeks in the correct conditions, 100% humidity, and about 76 degrees, what would the problem be, too much light???

i am not growing these, this is purely hypothetical :smile:, but lets say that they were 3 times a day...do you think dunking would be good?

and for dunking you would need to steralize the water first? do you have a link to a dunk tek?

I just use water straight from the tap. Put your cakes in a large enough container, weight them down with something (cakes float like corks) and fill with water. Put it in your fridge for 12 hours.
