Did anyone leave their social circles after getting into psychedelics?

Whether Ganja or Lsd. I find I only like hanging out with close or long time friends. I can get very analytical about people and I usually wont bother to call up anyone that never calls me.
Just wanna see if I am alone here.
I prefer to smoke weed myself than call someone I am not tight with.
Close friends though I love blazing with, I like being around open minded people when I'm high

When I started smoking weed I stopped hanging out with my close friends at the time as much because they are very not cool with weed.
I don't know whether to blame myself or them. It's kind of a sad situation.

good to know I'm not the only one. There are some people I would like to chill with but they never fucking call so my p.o.v. is fuck them.

I didn't have many close friends before, and I don't have many close friends now.
I still enjoy hanging with people. I'm just not all that social. Low doses, definitely.
And I only smoke weed, as far as psychedelics go.

I kind of abandoned all of my old friends because they are detrimental.

I hung out with at least a few of my smokin buddies for a while there...but once I really got into it - I just started making new friends online

I learned too much about myself to bother associating with any of them anymore.
I wanted to move on with life and capture what's out there. They're just doing the same thing they were 8 years ago (small town). I'm educated, published, and have a nice job.
I don't blame drugs for their downfall, but I celebrate drugs for my success. If I hadn't learned the things I did I'd be in a terrible position.

i remember leaving many social circles after dropping out of drugs for a bit. funny how 10 years can go by and you figure out who your friends really are.
the ones that stick with you, drugs or no drugs, no matter what, are the only friends you will ever have. i say it takes at least 10 years for one to know who their friends are.
